Does Geico Offer Vampire Coverage?

Just when you think you have heard it all...you can almost be sure you haven't because something else will come along that will just make your jaw drop and your sides split.

On our 10 PM local news tonight they had a story about a Colorado woman who backed her SUV into a ditch, wrecking it because...a vampire was chasing her.

I had to stop and giggle again for a second there.

Now they didn't say what she was doing before that, so I don't know what condition she was in, or what she actually saw.  But I feel fairly certain that it probably wasn't a vampire.

I can't stop giggling!

Now I have never read the Twilight series, and vampires aren't really my thing...but I am pretty sure it's time for this fad to be over.  It's obviously influencing people in larger ways than we realized.

Seriously if I don't stop laughing I am going to fall out of my computer chair.

Can you imagine trying to explain that to the insurance adjuster?

Hmm, I think Vampire Bat would have sounded more sane... but that's only because of assumptions people make about them XD

I suspect the question of "What was she doing beforehand" might be answered with a phrase like 'hard drugs' :P

Her whole statement could have only been improved by finishing off with, "But then a large wolf came and saved me" ... we'd know for sure she was Team Jacob then.

I think this resurgence in vampire love is amusing, and you're right... overdone. What's weird about it is that the vampires that everyone is going ga-ga over now aren't really very much like vampires at all... the bit about vampires taking human lovers isn't that far off... but the whole "and then we live happily ever after" part is... and while I'll be one of the first ones on the glitter train, I have to say, I draw the line at glittery vampires.

I used to work with actuarial calculations, and I'm pretty sure vampires were never a risk factor to be added into insurance equations when I was working on them. Of course maybe they cunningly disguised them as something else...
