I was just practicing my photography. But now you know why it takes me forever to clean! (I have wayyyy too much stuff! There is no rhyme or reason to the photos...if you want to know what anything is, just ask!

Your photos are wonderful, You have great stuff..... I love it. My theory is You have warmth and love in the home, and it tells who you are.

Yep, you definitely have lots of 'stuff' but it's all very fun 'stuff' so the cleaning can be overlooked :oD
Sadly this is only about 1/20th of my stuff! XD I didn't even photograph the bears...or the hats...or...I don't even want to think about all the stuff.
That's nice Kay, I like that!
Thee has been a vogue for minimalism here in the UK. I HATE it! There are so many sterile homes with no soul, no reference to ealier generations and a general feeling of consumerism - buy all new, throw all old out and then do it again in two years. Give me stuff every time!
I love visiting friends homes where they have collected a variety of interesting objects and they change the whole feel of a room just by moving things around. The minimalist homes always feel like a room set at IKEA, rather than a home.
The only pleasure I get from cleaning is rearranging all those bits and pieces and thinking of the people who gave me them or the place I bought them from. It brightens the chores for me.
Your things are lovely and make the bears look really at home.
Do I see miniature ouiji board in that last photo?????!!!!
Where do I get one of those?!
One of my new little dolls is a ghost girl, and one of those would be just perfect!!!
(It's at the http://majokkoshop.blogspot.com blog if you want to check it out)
Yes you do Heather! It's a tin of mints from World Market. Cute isn't it! I have never used a real ouija board, but I bought the tin because I thought it would make a cute prop in Halloween photos.
I am with you Jenann, I can't stand minimalist either. Old things are so wonderful. They have history and a story to tell. So much better.
BUT THE BEAR'S LOOK FANTASTIC don't they sitting among it all. They probably don't notice your stuff, just sit there and know any visitor only ever has eye's for them :-) X X X
